At this year’s annual meeting of the German Cardiac Society (DGK), MD student Jessica Kowalski gained the 2nd prize at the Hans Blömer young investigator award competition. She was awarded for her work on mineralocorticoid receptors in pulmonary hypertension and right ventricular failure.
Dr. Achim Lother on behalf of his co-authors received the award of the Working Group on Heart and Diabetes for the manuscript “The heterocellular diabetic heart requires cell type-specific transcriptome and epigenome analysis”.
